One of the first things you learn from being on the Plexus products is that you really need to drink a lot of water.

This water does actually have some fat fighting properties to it.

Health benefits of Grapefruit

  • Strengthens Immune System. It is well known any fruit rich in vitamin C will strengthen and support our immune system.
  • Boosts Metabolism. Grapefruit is a popular diet staple among those looking to lose weight.
  • Reduces Kidney Stones Risk.
  • Fights Gum Disease.
  • Protects Against Cancer.
  • Reduces Stress
You should drink at least three 8 oz glasses per day, they say the longer it sits, the better it tastes. You can eat them as well but they are intended as flavoring and still work, so personal choice!
The Vitamin C turns fat into fuel, the tangerine increases your sensitivity to insulin, and the cucumber makes you feel full. Try it for 10 days and see what you think!
Ingredients per 8 oz serving
Water
1 sliced grapefruit
1 tangerine
½ cucumber, sliced
2 sprigs of Mint
Ice – as much as you like
Directions
Wash grapefruit, tangerine cucumber and mint leaves. Slice cucumber, grapefruit and tangerine (or peel). Combine all ingredients (fruits, vegetables, 8 oz water, and ice) into a large pitcher.
For even better taste you can add some berries – they are full of antioxidants
Stir & Enjoy!
PS – you can get a pitcher like this very cheap at Big Lots!!!
