What to post on Facebook – Boost Organic Engagement
Are your posts being seen by less and less people?
Don’t worry it’s happening for all of us…
Now is the time to work even harder to get your posts seen… that or pay huge Facebook advertising fees….
We must all think about getting more creative.
POST FILL-IN-THE-BLANKS ON COOL GRAPHICS
Ever answered the a fill in the blank question on a cool graphic post on Facebook?
Well guess what you were definitely helping that pages’ edgerank. It’s a super cute way of increasing your page / post views… and no money is changing hands for advertising…
These fill-in-the-blank posts can be fantastic for boosting fan engagement.
Combine a fill-in-the-blank statement with a killer image & you’re sure to have a winning post.
ASK QUESTIONS ON IMAGES

Great images to encourage engagement:
Cute Animals (yes, cats and dogs rule Facebook)
Vacation scenes – beaches / monuments / famous placesQuote images : Fun, Wisdom, Life, Love, Fact, Reality, Inspiration & Motivation – you choose.. just make sure to brand your images too – and create your own content (don’t use the same image as everyone else!!!)
POST FUN, QUICK GAMES
I know I’ve played these… have you?
ASK YOUR FANS FOR THEIR OPINIONS
Want fans to engage with your Facebook page? Ask their opinions about what’s happening with your company or in the news… (stay away from Politics though, it’s derisive)
If I had a new logo I was considering, or changing up my FB cover, I’d ask for opinions in a post… even if I was buying a new laptop or car… it’s all about engagement!
Here is a post I did on my Social Media training page
It achieved interaction, comments, likes…and gave value to the readership too
Thanks for reading!
